Classes must have 50% of the seats reserved on the Wednesday PRIOR to the class for the class to continue.


If there is a lower attendance than 50% , then that class will be bumped to the next session.

Course Outline

This course will take you from being an absolute beginner to understanding what a 3D printer is, and how to use it. The focus of this course is on Fused Filament Deposition (FDM) printing.

We will discuss:

  • How 3D printing works

  • The anatomy of common styles of 3D printers

  • Different materials used for printing

  • The workflow and process of using a 3D printer

  • Tips and tricks for producing high quality prints

  • Troubleshooting common printer issues

What to Bring

  • A cellphone
  • Means of paying remaining 50% of class balance
  • Notepad/laptop for taking notes
